Children are the flowers of their motherland and the future of the society in any country. The school bus is the traffic tool for picking up the students to and from school every day. So the first task of the school authorities and school bus manufacturers is to make sure the safe of all the children.

At least in the 1940 s, most of the states of the U.S. had the legislation required that other vehicles must stop two directions and could drive only after children getting over up or down the U.S. school bus when children were on or off the U.S. school bus as well as even the president of the United States car also had to park and wait. If drivers who violated of the laws and regulations were often imposed a hefty fine and even sentenced to severe punishment. So this indicated that the society should give the additional protection for the children.

When the bus will stop, it’s yellow flashing light will flash like traffic lights so as to remind the passing vehicles to prepare slowly down and stop. When the bus stops, the red stop sign installed on the left front will open, so the passing cars must stop and wait for. Some school buses were also installed the second red stop sign on the left rear so as to provide more prominent stop sign for the passing cars. The yellow flashing light and red stop sign on the school bus were equal to the red and green lights on the streets of highway. So all the drivers must be the same abiding as observing the other traffic rules.

Except all above, the teacher and parents should remind the children to know some necessary knowledge in order to protect the children themselves.
